Barbro + Florence Sinclair

Doors: 19.00 Price: 120 DKK

Curated by Rune Kielsgaard, 20_14 offers contrasting double-bills at Copenhagen Distillery. On concrete floor, centre of room, shows are targeting abstract and catchy with low lights and energetic perspectives on sound and presence.

BARBRO

In 2022, Barbro won a Steppeulv and also received the Carl Prize for his laid-back compositions. In April 2023, the debut album 'Bad Choices' was released, which is a processing of the concussion that in the summer of 2022 forced Barbro to pull the plug and rethink his self-care. His solo show will be packed with new untested material and alternative versions. A setback in a process.

Florence Sinclair

Florence Sinclair is a British contemporary producer and singer-songwriter. At the age of 12, they started exploring music through hip hop and grime, which still informs their current practice. It’s later on they started experimenting with ambient sounds, which from there birthed the Florence Sinclair moniker. As a Black, Caribbean British musician, their work embodies their multifaceted identity by merging the intersections of existing genres, cultures, and histories; creating avant-garde compositions that challenge listener's expectations.
