It’s going to be dark and magic when Whisky & Witches fires up the musical cauldron at Copenhagen Distillery for midsummer. We turn the summer solstice upside down and celebrate witches and all the stories behind the magic that’s strongest when the nights are shortest. For this occasion, Christine Kammerer will bring her band Jotunger, a folk ensemble of 6 people who’ll set the tone for an extraordinary whisky tasting. Lasse and Sune has been in their storages to find things you’ll never get an opportunity to taste again! There are only 70 tickets available for the evening. BACKGROUND

Whisky & Witches began in 2022 as a collaboration between Danish singer, composer and Whisky Experience Ambassador Christine Kammerer and whisky aficionado Jane Ross, owner of the whisky bar: The Mother Superior Bar in Edinburgh. Since starting, they have already done 18 shows, with sold out events in Scotland, Ireland or Denmark and performances at Fèis ìle, Belfast Whiskey Week, Edinburgh Festival Fringe and more.

Jane Ross has been in the whisky industry for over 13 years, and before she opened her own bar, she was the manager of the Black Cat for years. She is infamous for breaking boundaries with weird and wonderful whisky events. She is now the owner and CEO of The Mother Superior Bar in Edinburgh, which - with it’s 250 bottles of whisky on the shelf from all over the world, and monthly exciting whisky events - has quickly become one of the whisky hotspots in Edinburgh.


Christine Kammerer is a whisky ambassador, internationally known singer, multi-instrumentalist and composer and a graduate from OurWhisky Foundation Mentorship Programme. She has released 2 EP's, 3 singles and a music video "Raven Brings Runes". Kammerer has currently recorded her debut album.
